The Girls’ Shared Bedroom

We’ve been in our house for a couple months now and I am finally ready to reveal the girls’ shared bedroom.  Prior to moving in, I had asked the older girls how they would like to decorate their room and what color they wanted their walls to be painted. Immediately they expressed how much they LOVE unicorns and anything princess, so the hunt for the perfect decor began. I wanted to keep the decor minimal, but still showcase the things they love, all while having an ultra feminine feel. I was undecided on the wall color for quite some time, but after going back and forth between a few colors, we all agreed on Cupcake Pink by Behr.(Paint color can be bought here.) I went with the eggshell finish and I am so happy with how it turned out; it pairs perfectly with the white, gold, and grey accents throughout their room.

Ivory area rug can be found here.

I found a lot of the decor at Hobby Lobby including the letters, tassel banner and the Once upon a Time picture. You can shop these items in the links below.

The last piece in the girls’ shared space that I love is the little heart cabinet; they use it like a vanity and can often be found checking out all their dress-up looks in the mirrors.  It was made by my best friend’s grandfather and she gifted it to me since her little girl has outgrown it. When I got the cabinet it was a glossy white color, but I decided to refinish it with some chalk paint and I love it! You can find the chalk paint I used here.

I am so happy the girls’ have a space that reflects their sweet personalities. Now I can focus on Lilly’s nursery and I will share that once it’s finished. Thanks for stopping by!

XO,

Kylie
